Can't get away from the leaves

Last Tuesday in my weekly cake decorating we focused on rolled fondant. Here is my final product. Seems like the leaves are falling everywhere around me.

Wilton Course II

Tuesday was the last day of Course II of my cake decorating class. This course focus was on making royal icing flower. We also learned a few new borders and the the basket weave technique. We didn't have to bring a cake each week just the last class for our final cake. So here it is. Hope you enjoy.

2 Minute Drill

I am so far behind on my blogging that it isn't funny. I really haven't been on the computer much lately so I really need to do some updating. I promised myself that while Cam is taking his nap I would take 2 minutes to sit down and do a quick update. I will try to make some more time soon to add a bunch more. But for now here we go:



Kenzie: Still busy with Signet, Girl Scouts, and school. Got a new hair cut for school picture day. Parent teacher conference was OK. She needs to focus a bit more. Report cards come out soon. Was Thing 1 (from Cat in the Hat) for Halloween.


Cameron: Loves going to Cammy's school (Gymboree). Is really into Dinosaurs and Robots right now. Starting to get a bit of a cold. Really got and loved Halloween this year. And if you haven't guessed was Thing 2




Rob: Busy Busy Busy at work. Was able to take off a few days here and there. Is enjoying taking Cam to school on Sundays. Sad the Red Sox didn't make it to the World Series. Still has faith in his Patriots even though they have had a few set backs. Won three prizes at the Halloween party we went to. Was a Breathalyzer for Halloween.





Julie: Never has enough time for everything. Made four Halloween costumes. Still taking cake decorating classes. Made a Halloween cake for the party that didn't turn out half bad. Was a corrections officer for Halloween. Trying to get all of the Christmas shopping done early. Getting back into walking at the mall in the morning after last week. Trying to make sense of everything.
