Yesterday afternoon I heard a weather alert on the radio saying that they were forecasting 8 to 10 inches of snow over night. I really didn’t believe that we would get that much but I was wrong. Last night it started to lightly snow before we went to bed. I ran outside to get a few pictures. I needed to write Cam’s first snow

in the snow so I could use it for scrap booking. Boy I am glad that I did. When we woke up there was tons and tons of snow. We maybe not tons but it looks like somewhere around 6 to 8 inches with no sign of stopping. While the American kids got to have a snow day

the German kids still had to go to school. So I bundled up the kids and strapped Cameron in his sled

and off to school we went. I thought it was going to be easy but the snow was very soft and deep. I am not sure that Cam knew what to think about the snow. He just kept looking up to the sky watching the snow come down. Buy the time we got home he was a little babycicle. Rob made it to work and called a little after 1100 hrs to

say that he was coming home. We will pick Kenzie up from school and then stop at the CX. After that I am sure that my two oldest kids (Rob and Kenzie) will hit the hill and go sledding.
