The Nutcracker.
MacKenzie’s Girl Scout troop got the chance to go to the Warner Theatre in downtown Washington DC to see the Washington DC ballet perform the Nutcracker. I was lucky enough to be invited to be a chaperon. I know what you are thinking thrilled to be a chaperon for a troop of girl scouts, I have to be out of my mind. But I have to say our troop was absolutely wonderful. They were polite, quiet, and all around well behaved.
The ballet was fantastic. I think that I was as excited and amazed as the kids. This was my first visit to the ballet as it was for most of the girls. I hope to make this an annual trip.
